Aurum Group regrets to inform about the unfounded accusation of a group of companies presented in a journalistic investigation in the program \u201cSkhemy\u201d, the main purpose of which, apparently, was to broadcast any material mentioning ex-politician Pavel Lebediev.<\/p>\n
In order for the story to make big news, the journalists tried every way to combine Aurum Group, the name of Pavel Lebediev and the activities of one of the official dealers of the PJSC \u201cSNZ\u201d, SPA \u201cOSO\u201d LLC, which have nothing to do with Aurum Group.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, the authors of the news story did not intend to conduct an objective investigation of the facts and released selectively only part of the officially provided information of the Aurum Group in a biased way.<\/p>\n
To prevent any speculation, accusations and manipulation of public opinion, we share the full text of the letter from Aurum Group to the journalists of \u201cSvoboda\u201d Radio, which was provided to the editors before the story release:<\/p>\n

To the journalist of the program \u201cSkhemy\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n Savchuk M.V.<\/strong><\/p>\n Dear Mr Savchuk<\/strong><\/p>\n We express our respect to you and provide information on your request dated 11.21.2019.<\/p>\n We inform you that PJSC \u201cSvesky Pumping Plant\u201d (PJSC \u201cSNZ\u201d) has never participated in the period you specified from 2015-2019 in tenders for deliveries and has not delivered industrial pumps and units of our own production to enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Aurum Group is not familiar with the facts referred to in your letter regarding the supply of products manufactured by PJSC \u201cSNZ\u201d to the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation<\/strong>. All companies within the sphere of influence of Aurum Group strictly adhere to internal corporate orders regarding a complete prohibition of any financial and economic relations with persons and enterprises, on which sanctions have been placed<\/strong>, including enterprises of the MIC of the RF. Meanwhile, pumping products manufactured by PJSC \u201cSNZ\u201d are sold outside of Ukraine mainly through official third-party dealers of the company, who are not affiliated with the plant\u2019s shareholders and carry out independent commercial activities; therefore, we are unable to control their activities or influence them in any way. However, Aurum Group is making responsible use of the information you have provided and is conducting an internal audit of the facts you have presented, based on which appropriate decisions will be made regarding the advisability of continuing cooperation with certain dealer companies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Upon our request we have already received and are sending you for review a response from the official dealer PJSC \u201cSNZ\u201d – \u201cTH Svesky Pumping Plant\u201d LLC (Sevsk, the RF), which indicates that from 2015-2019, the trading house has not participated in tenders for the supply of products of PJSC \u201cSvesky Pumping Plant\u201d and has not made any deliveries to the Russian defence industry enterprises.<\/strong><\/p>\n PJSC \u201cSvesky Pumping Plant\u201d is part of Aurum Group and produces a wide range of industrial pumping products, which for many decades has been widely known throughout the former Soviet Union due to its high quality and competitive price. Almost all this time, the main consumers of PJSC \u201cSNZ\u201d products were Russian companies, namely enterprises in the oil, metallurgical, chemical industries and housing and municipal services. Since 2014, the export volumes of pumping products manufactured by CJSC have been partially reoriented to the markets of Ukraine, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and vice versa, have been significantly reduced in the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n We would like to specially focus on the fact that the assumption of the existence of the so-called \u201cfamily business\u201d is unfounded. All enterprises of Aurum Group are legally and actually managed by Mrs Alona Lebedieva, who is the sole owner of the group. Aurum Group does not conduct, does not coordinate and does not unite its activities with enterprises belonging to the circle of influence of Pavlo Lebediev.<\/strong><\/p>\n Aurum Group is an apolitical company that conducts socially responsible and transparent activities in strict accordance with the laws of Ukraine, is a member of the European Business Association and the Federation of Employers of Ukraine and provides jobs to about 1,500 Ukrainians. Over the past 5 years, the group has invested more than 300 million hryvnias in the Ukrainian economy.<\/p>\n We hope that we were able to provide full and complete replies to your questions.
