Agricultural enterprises of Aurum Group that are located in the Zaporizhia oblast began a sowing campaign, in particular, as of today 100% of the land is under winter crops fertilized with nitrogen fertilizers and 18% of spring crops have already been sawn.<\/p>\n
As was reported by Mykola Shyshman, Deputy CEO of Aurum Group for agribusiness.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe agricultural enterprises of Aurum Group are located in the Zaporizhia and Kharkiv oblasts. In Zaporizhia, we have already begun a sowing campaign, applied nitrogen-containing mineral fertilizers and are sowing spring crops. In the Kharkiv oblast, fertilization has just begun, and the sowing campaign starts at the end of March,\u201d said Mykola Shyshman.<\/p>\n
According to M. Shyshman, one of the problems faced by farmers is an ice crust that covered the ground: \u201cIn the Kharkiv region, the winter crops have been icebound for about two months, which was formed after the thaw, that caused frost-killing of about 6% of winter crops,\u201d said the head of the agricultural sector of Aurum group.<\/p>\n
Shyshman also said that this year the Aurum Group agricultural enterprises plan to use 45% of the acreage for winter wheat and barley; 30% for sunflower; 5% for corn; 11% for spring barley and 9% for mustard and rape.<\/p>\n
