Agricultural enterprises of the Aurum Group that are located in the Zaporizhzhya region began a sowing campaign a week earlier than usual, from 10 September, due to weather forecasts of synoptics who expect rain in late September.
As was reported by Mykola Shyshman, Deputy CEO of Aurum Group for agribusiness.
“We are laying winter wheat and sunflower as the main crops for 2019. We also plan to grow barley and niche crops, such as rape plant and mustard, ”said Mykola Shyshman.
According to M. Shyshman, the share of grain crops in the structure of the group’s sown land is: 43% – winter wheat, 21% – sunflower and 16.5% – spring barley.
